311.24       WHEELS

They told me that adrenaline pumpin' in my veins

Was the ultimate rush one could feel

That piece of common knowledge nearly blows out my brains

Every time I grip her leather-bound wheel

She can sing a sweet song with her aluminum rockers

Tempering the tension in my head

And I love to hear the pounding of her dual-tone Walkers

Loud enough to wake up the dead

She's lookin' so pretty that it's rubberneck city

All the way from the attention she steals

Call me chauvinistic but let’s be realistic

I'm in heaven when I'm drivin' my wheels

She's got a four forty magnum four speed plus

All the character a body could need

To challenge her authority is dangerous

You see my baby is addicted to speed

She can get a little slippery comin' off a brake stand

So good rubber is a definite must

Although I play with her gently she loves a firm hand

A lesser man would choke in her dust

If little Miss Muffet gets tired of her tuffet

We head out for an evening on the town

We go crusin' by the boys with the harmless little toys

That always turn tail and back down

When she's got a score to settle and her pedal's to the metal

You're sure to see my lady turn red

Her screamin' turbo ponies take the air out of the phonies

And smoke em' on the pavement till they're dead

There's method to her madness and savvy to her style

She grips with such a powerful clutch

She puts out for me regularly mile after mile

That's why I love her so much

It's all over but the cryin' for the beater's that are tryin'

To make a final stand before they die

When it's all said and done she is the only one

She is the apple of my eye

She's lookin' so pretty that it's rubberneck city

All the way from the attention she steals

Call me chauvinistic but let’s be realistic

I'm in heaven when I'm drivin' my wheels
