When politicians egotistical perhaps insane

Devise cruel military plots that will insure personal gain

Their mindless murdering should shock even the wickedest of Cain

Who lets them showboat for the public

Through impunity they reign

Did someone see that emperor strut proudly for the crowd

Am I the only voice that shouts “You’re naked and too loud!"

When said religious leaders lie and cheat their way to fame

The show Religion becomes but a silly television game

Obsessed with emulating politics in terms of laying blame

I see it's busy in the viper pit

So many snakes to shame

Did someone see that emperor strut proudly for the crowd

Am I the only voice that shouts “You’re naked and too loud!"

When parents rape their children without guilt, without remorse

And narcissistically abuse them with emotional brute force

As they're about to throw the towel in when their voices have grown hoarse

Those parents tell the biggest lie

To save the kids we won't divorce.

These are but a few of the most obvious portents

That precipitate the poets disdain

And though it is disgusting when the whole scene makes me sick

I am still thankful for deception he is my dog to kick

And as lying fangs annoy me when I'm moved to later on

I think I'll give him one good kick and they'll be permanently gone

When egos badly fragmented by mirrors who have lied

Resort to swimming in the ocean made of tears their hearts have cried

In one last effort to escape the swelling introspective tide

To be or not to be becomes the issue

People must decide
